Flood Advisory issued November 11 at 9:37PM EST until November 11 at 11:30PM EST by NWS Pittsburgh PA
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Portions of northwest, southwest, and west central
Pennsylvania, including the following counties, in northwest
Pennsylvania, Forest and Venango. In southwest Pennsylvania,
Allegheny, Fayette, Greene, Washington and Westmoreland. In west
central Pennsylvania, Armstrong, Butler, Clarion, Indiana and
Jefferson PA.
* WHEN...Until 1130 PM EST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. River or stream flows are elevated. Ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 937 PM EST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain has fallen across the area. Minor
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the
advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have
fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.1 to 0.3 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Penn Hills, Monroeville, Greensburg, McKeesport, Indiana,
Uniontown, Jeannette, Latrobe, Connellsville, Punxsutawney,
Clarion, Vandergrift, Kittanning, Brookville, Marienville,
Homer City, Apollo, Knox, Rimersburg and Plum.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
