Special Weather Statement issued December 10 at 8:59AM EST by NWS Melbourne FL
At 855 AM, surface observations, satellite imagery, and traffic
cameras continues to show dense fog through Volusia County,
reducing visibility as low as one quarter mile. The fog is
expected to dissipate by around 10 AM in this area.
Persons out driving this morning should prepare to encounter rapid
lowering of visibilities in fog. When driving in dense fog, reduce
your speed, use only your low beam headlights, and leave extra
following distance between your vehicle and the one in front of
you.
