Dense Fog Advisory issued December 22 at 1:44AM EST until December 22 at 9:00AM EST by NWS Melbourne FL
* WHAT...Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.
* WHERE...Most of east central Florida.
* WHEN...Until 9 AM this morning.
* IMPACTS...Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Visibilities were rapidly dropping below
one mile across much of east central Florida. Conditions support
continued the development of widespread dense fog lowering
visibilities to one quarter mile or less across the advisory
area.
If you plan on driving early this morning, plan on leaving early.
to allow yourself plenty of time to arrive at your destination
safely. When driving in dense fog, slow down, use only your low
beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance between your vehicle
and the one in front of you.
