Coastal Flood Warning issued December 22 at 3:09PM EST until December 23 at 10:00AM EST by NWS Melbourne FL

* WHAT...Significant coastal flooding expected due to tidal
effects.

* WHERE...Coastal Volusia, Coastal Indian River, Coastal Saint
Lucie, Coastal Martin, Northern Brevard Barrier Islands and
Southern Brevard Barrier Islands Counties.

* WHEN...From 1 AM to 10 AM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Coastal roads may be closed. Low lying property
including homes, businesses and some critical infrastructure may
be inundated. Shoreline erosion may also occur, especially along
portions of the coastline left vulnerable by recent erosion.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Coastal flooding is expected to occur with
the morning high tide cycle Friday morning and again Saturday
and Sunday mornings. As a result, an extension or additional
issuance of the Coastal Flood Warning may be needed beyond
Friday morning.

Coastal flooding is expected Friday morning. Coastal residents in
the warned area should be alert for rising water, and take
appropriate action to protect life and flood-prone property. If
travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through
water of unknown depth.
