...FREEZE WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY EVENING THROUGH SUNDAY
MORNING...
* WHAT...For the Freeze Warning, sub-freezing temperatures of 28
to 32 degrees expected. For the Freeze Watch, sub-freezing
temperatures of 28 to 32 degrees possible.
* WHERE...Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Okeechobee, Coastal
Volusia, Southern Lake, Inland Northern Brevard, Mainland
Northern Brevard, Inland Southern Brevard and Mainland
Southern Brevard Counties.
* WHEN...For the Freeze Warning, from 1 AM to 9 AM Saturday. For
the Freeze Watch, from Saturday evening through Sunday morning.
* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions will kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.
Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. Bring pets
and potted plants indoors. Check on elderly neighbors to make
sure their furnace is working.To prevent freezing and possible
bursting of outdoor water pipes they can be wrapped, drained, or
allowed to drip slowly.
