Special Weather Statement issued February 22 at 9:04AM EST by NWS Melbourne FL
While visibility is improving across northern portions of east
central Florida, patchy dense fog is lingering from northern
Osceola and western Orange counties to Lake and Volusia counties.
Despite gradually improving conditions, visibility less than one
half mile will remain possible through late this morning.
If you encounter patchy dense fog while driving, reduce your
speed, use low beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance
between your vehicle and the one in front of you.
Fog is expected to deteriorate through 11 AM as southerly winds
increase.
