Special Marine Warning issued March 13 at 11:32AM EDT until March 13 at 2:30PM EDT by NWS Melbourne FL

The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line 0-20 nm...
Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line 20-60 nm...

* Until 230 PM EDT.

* At 1131 AM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Holly Hill to 8 nm west of Daytona Beach to 19 nm
west of Port Orange, moving east at 20 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots and small hail.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots, suddenly higher
waves, lightning and heavy downpours. Make sure all on
board are wearing life jackets. Return to safe harbor if
possible.

* Locations impacted include...
New Smyrna Beach Airport, Allandale, Port Orange, Ponce Inlet and
Daytona Beach Shores.

Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor
immediately.
