Special Weather Statement issued April 5 at 4:42AM EDT by NWS Melbourne FL
At 445 AM, surface observations, satellite imagery, and traffic
cameras, showed locally dense fog had developed across Volusia
County and the northeastern portion of Lake County, dropping
visibility to between one quarter mile and one half mile in some
locations.
Prepare to encounter rapid reductions in visibility on the roads
due to dense fog. Slow down, use your low beam headlights, and
leave plenty of driving distance between your car and the one in
front of you.
Fog will gradually dissipate between 9 and 10 AM
