Description
Coastal Flood Advisory issued June 4 at 4:26AM EDT until June 6 at 2:00AM EDT by NWS Melbourne FL

* WHAT...Beach erosion, with the potential for dune breaching and
coastal inundation around the times of the next few high tide
cycles. Tides will run around 2 feet above normal high water
levels.

* WHERE...All central Florida Atlantic beaches, but especially
Volusia County, which remains particularly vulnerable due to
leftover coastal damage from hurricanes Ian and Nicole last
fall.

* WHEN...Around the times of high tide between 900 PM and 930 PM
late this evening, and again late Monday evening between 1000 PM
and 1030 PM.

* IMPACTS...Some flooding of low-lying lots, parks and roadways
may occur near the shoreline. Only isolated road closures are
expected.

A Coastal Flood Advisory indicates that onshore winds and tides
will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the shore.
