Special Weather Statement issued June 20 at 3:22PM EDT by NWS Melbourne FL
At 322 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Lake George, or 8 miles southwest of Pierson, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach, Holly Hill, Pierson and
Ormond-By-the-Sea.
