Marine Weather Statement issued June 20 at 7:54PM EDT by NWS Melbourne FL

The areas affected include...
Flagler Beach to Sebastian Inlet 0-60 nm...


At 750 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots, located along a line from
30 nm northeast of Klondike Beach to 35 nm east of Port Canaveral to
40 nm northeast of Sebastian Inlet, moving east at 25 knots.

Additional storms were forming from around Cape Canaveral to 10
miles west of Ponce Inlet, and move across the nearshore waters
of Volusia and northern Brevard Counties.

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
