The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a
* Special Marine Warning for...
Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line 0-20 nm...
Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line 20-60 nm...
* Until 1015 PM EDT.
* At 838 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Ormond Beach to near Daytona Beach Shores,
moving northeast at 25 knots.
HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots, suddenly higher
waves, lightning and heavy downpours. Make sure all on
board are wearing life jackets. Return to safe harbor if
possible.
* Locations impacted include...
Wilbur By The Sea, Daytona Beach Shores, Harbor Oaks, Allandale and
South Daytona.
Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
