Marine Weather Statement issued June 23 at 8:18PM EDT by NWS Melbourne FL

The areas affected include...
Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line 0-20 nm...

At 817 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. This
thunderstorm was located over Daytona Beach Shores, or near South
Daytona, moving northeast at 15 knots. Additional storms will move
off of the coast this evening as well with similar winds and
potential for small hail.

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. A special marine warning may
eventually be required when these storms reach the nearshore waters.
Boaters should consider heading for shore before the storms arrive.
