Description
Special Weather Statement issued July 31 at 3:25PM EDT by NWS Melbourne FL
At 324 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near DeLeon Springs to Christmas to Harmony to
8 miles south of Saint Cloud. Movement was east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Orlando, Palm Bay, Deltona, Melbourne, and Daytona Beach.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or hard-topped vehicle. Remember, when
thunder roars, go indoors!

and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
