Description
Flood Advisory issued September 28 at 10:46AM EDT until September 28 at 12:45PM EDT by NWS Melbourne FL
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of east central Florida, including the following
county, Volusia.
* WHEN...Until 1245 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1045 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach, South Daytona, Holly Hill,
Ormond-By-the-Sea, Daytona Beach Shores, Daytona
International Speedway, Daytona Beach Airport and Ormond
Beach Airport.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
