Coastal Flood Advisory issued September 28 at 2:27PM EDT until September 29 at 11:00AM EDT by NWS Melbourne FL
* WHAT...Minor coastal flooding.
* WHERE...Coastal Volusia County.
* WHEN...Until 11 AM EDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...Some flooding of low-lying lots, parks and roadways
may occur near the shoreline.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The next couple high tide cycles where the
potential for minor coastal flooding will be highest will be
around 8 PM this evening and again around 8 AM Friday.
Onshore winds and above normal tides will combine to generate
flooding of low areas along the shore. Do not drive around
barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary
actions to protect flood-prone property.
