Description
Flood Advisory issued September 30 at 9:37AM EDT until September 30 at 11:30AM EDT by NWS Melbourne FL
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of east central Florida, including the following
counties, Lake and Volusia.
* WHEN...Until 1130 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 937 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

Deltona, Daytona Beach, Port Orange, DeLand, New Smyrna
Beach, South Daytona, Holly Hill, Orange City, Lake Helen,
Paisley, Daytona Beach Shores, DeLand Airport, Daytona
International Speedway, Daytona Beach Airport, Ponce Inlet,
DeLand Highlands, North DeLand, Cassadaga, DeLand Southwest
and Samsula-Spruce Creek.
