Flood Advisory issued September 30 at 11:50AM EDT until September 30 at 3:00PM EDT by NWS Melbourne FL

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall has occurred.

* WHERE...A portion of east central Florida, including the following
county, Volusia.

* WHEN...Until 300 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1147 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Between 4 and 7 inches of rain have already
fallen this morning.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Daytona Beach, Port Orange, Ormond Beach, DeLand, New Smyrna
Beach, South Daytona, Holly Hill, Lake Helen, DeLeon Springs,
Ormond-By-the-Sea, Daytona Beach Shores, Daytona
International Speedway, Daytona Beach Airport, DeLand
Airport, Ponce Inlet, Spruce Creek, DeLand Highlands,
Samsula-Spruce Creek, North DeLand and Ormond Beach Airport.
