High Surf Advisory issued November 1 at 1:42AM EDT until November 3 at 4:00AM EDT by NWS Melbourne FL
* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 4 to 8 feet expected in the
surf zone.
* WHERE...Coastal Volusia, Mainland Northern Brevard and
Northern Brevard Barrier Islands Counties.
* WHEN...From 10 AM this morning to 4 AM EDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
localized beach erosion.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Rip currents and strong southward flowing
longshore current will also be present in the surf zone.
High surf will affect the beaches in the advisory area, producing
localized beach erosion and dangerous swimming conditions.
Swimmers should remain out of the water due to large breaking
waves and dangerous surf conditions.
