Special Weather Statement issued November 28 at 12:18AM EST by NWS Pittsburgh PA

At 1217 AM EST, an area of heavIER snow was located along a line
extending from near Oak Hills to 6 miles northwest of Imperial.
Movement was east at 30 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph are possible with these snow showers along
with rapid reductions in visibility and quick coatings of snow on
roadways.

Locations impacted include...
Pittsburgh, Ross Township, McCandless Township, Cranberry, Moon
Township, Weirton, Franklin Park, Aliquippa, Monaca, Kittanning,
Shaler Township, Plum, North Side Pittsburgh, Hampton Township,
Robinson Township, New Kensington, Lower Burrell, Harrison Township,
Economy, and O'hara Township.

This includes the following highways...
Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 21 and 49.
Interstate 79 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 61 and 86.
Parkway North between mile markers 1 and 13.
Interstate 376 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 38 and 61.

Snow will lead to reduced visibilities and hazardous travel
conditions.

Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be
prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra
time when traveling.
