Special Weather Statement issued December 26 at 9:01AM EST by NWS Melbourne FL
At 9 AM, surface observations and traffic cameras showed patchy
dense fog occurring across Coastal Volusia County. Any locally
dense fog will reduce visibilities to less than a mile through at
least 10 AM, with fog gradually diminishing through this morning.
Drivers should prepare to encounter rapid visibility reductions
early this morning. When driving in fog, slow down, use only your
low beam headlights, and leave extra distance between your
vehicle and the one in front of you.
