Special Weather Statement issued December 26 at 8:39PM EST by NWS Melbourne FL
At 8:37 PM, surface observations and traffic cameras showed
patchy dense fog occurring across Coastal Volusia and Coastal
Brevard counties. Any locally dense fog will reduce visibilities
to less than a mile at times through at least 12 AM.
Drivers should prepare to encounter rapid visibility reductions
this evening. When driving in fog, slow down, use only your low
beam headlights, and leave extra distance between your vehicle and
the one in front of you.
