Marine Weather Statement issued January 16 at 1:26PM EST by NWS Melbourne FL

Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line 20-60 nm...

At 126 PM EST, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from 7 nm southwest of Holly Hill to
20 nm west of Maytown, moving east at 55 knots.

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.

Waterspouts are possible with this activity. Remain on the alert in
case warnings are issued for waterspout development.
