The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line 0-20 nm...
Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line 20-60 nm...
Volusia-Brevard County Line to Sebastian Inlet 0-20 nm...
Volusia-Brevard County Line to Sebastian Inlet 20-60 nm...

* Until 415 PM EDT.

* At 250 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Ormond-By-the-Sea to 17 nm southwest of Daytona
Beach to 24 nm west of Maytown to 33 nm west of Scottsmoor to 42 nm
west of Canaveral Groves, moving northeast at 25 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots, suddenly higher
waves, lightning and heavy downpours. Make sure all on
board are wearing life jackets. Return to safe harbor if
possible.

* Locations impacted include...
Ormond-By-the-Sea, New Smyrna Beach, Edgewater, Ormond Beach, and
Ponce Inlet.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 500 PM EDT for east central
Florida...and the adjacent coastal waters.

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
