Special Weather Statement issued April 3 at 2:43PM EDT by NWS Melbourne FL

At 242 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Barberville to near DeLand to Sorrento to
near Lake Apopka to Horizon West. Movement was northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Orlando, Deltona, Daytona Beach, Port Orange, and Sanford.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 500 PM EDT for east central
Florida.
