Flood Warning issued April 12 at 11:30PM EDT until April 13 at 6:54PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Pennsylvania...West Virginia...Ohio...
Allegheny River At CW Bill Young Dam affecting Allegheny County.
Ohio River At Powhatan Point affecting Belmont, Marshall and
Monroe Counties.
Ohio River At Moundsville affecting Marshall County.
Ohio River At Wheeling affecting Belmont and Ohio Counties.
Ohio River At Pike Island affecting Belmont, Ohio and Jefferson
OH Counties.
Ohio River Near New Cumberland affecting Hancock and Jefferson OH
Counties.
Ohio River At Wellsville affecting Columbiana County.
Ohio River At Montgomery affecting Beaver, Columbiana and Hancock
Counties.
Ohio River At Wellsburg affecting Brooke and Jefferson OH
Counties.
Ohio River At Steubenville affecting Brooke and Jefferson OH
Counties.
Ohio River At East Liverpool affecting Beaver, Columbiana,
Hancock and Jefferson OH Counties.
Ohio River At Hannibal affecting Wetzel, Tyler and Monroe

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Pennsylvania...
Ohio River At Pittsburgh affecting Allegheny County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Ohio River at Pittsburgh.
* WHEN...Until tomorrow evening.
* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Water begins to flow onto the Monongahela
Parking Wharf.
At 19.0 feet, Water begins to flow onto the North Shore riverwalk
between the stadiums.
At 19.5 feet, The Monongahela Parking Wharf is completely flooded.
At 20.0 feet, Water is up to one foot deep in the lower areas of
the North Shore Riverwalk.
At 22.0 feet, The Tenth Street Bypass floods.
At 22.5 feet, The fountain plaza is flooded.
At 24.0 feet, Water enters the outer pool of the fountain.
At 24.9 feet, Water entes the inner pool of the fountain.
At 25.0 feet, The Parkway Central (also known as the bathtub) is
closed by flooding. Lower North Side businesses are affected.
At 26.0 feet, State Correctional Institution Pittsburgh is impacted.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:00 PM EDT Friday the stage was 25.5 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 18.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 11:00 PM EDT Friday was 25.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise to 25.9 feet tomorrow morning.
It will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon
to 18.0 feet Monday evening. It will rise to 18.1 feet early
Tuesday morning. It will then fall to 17.5 feet Tuesday
evening. It will rise to 17.6 feet early Wednesday morning.
It will then fall again and remain below flood stage.
- Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
25.8 feet on 01/26/2010.
