Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued May 11 at 5:10PM EDT until May 11 at 5:45PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 510 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over New Cumberland,
or 7 miles southeast of Wellsville, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to trees and power lines, resulting in some power
outages.
Locations impacted include...
Moon Township, Weirton, East Liverpool, Aliquippa, Economy, Ambridge,
Toronto, Baden, Sewickley, Ohioville, Harmony Township, Midland,
Chester, Imperial, Industry, Sturgeon-Noblestown, Leetsdale, New
Cumberland, Shippingport, and Conway.

building.
