Beach Hazards Statement issued June 1 at 3:27AM EDT until June 2 at 4:00AM EDT by NWS Melbourne FL

* WHAT...Rough surf and a Moderate risk of life threatening rip
currents is expected.

* WHERE...The beaches of Volusia, Brevard, Indian River, Saint
Lucie and Martin counties.

* WHEN...Through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...Breezy east winds 15 to 20 mph with some higher gusts
will produce rough surf. A Moderate risk of rip currents also
exists.

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the
shore and call or wave for help.
