Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued June 18 at 3:30PM EDT until June 18 at 3:45PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA

At 330 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Plum, or near
Monroeville, moving northwest at 10 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind
damage to trees and power lines, resulting in some power
outages.

Locations impacted include...
Monroeville, Plum, Murrysville, Springdale, and Trafford.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Prepare immediately for large hail and deadly cloud to ground
lightning. Seek shelter inside a well-built structure. Stay away from
windows.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
