At 717 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a shower, capable of producing
winds to around 30 knots. This shower was located 32 nm northeast of
Apollo Beach, moving west at 25 knots. Additional showers and
isolated lightning storms will continue to move from east to west
across the local waters this evening and overnight. Some will
produce gusty winds.

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and occasional lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe
harbor immediately until this activity passes. A special marine
warning may eventually be required when strong showers and isolated
thunderstorms reach the nearshore waters. Boaters should consider
heading for shore before this activity arrives.
