Special Weather Statement issued June 30 at 4:39AM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 438 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers along a line
extending from near Emsworth to 7 miles southwest of Imperial.
Movement was east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Pittsburgh, Penn Hills, Mount Lebanon, Bethel Park, Ross Township,
McCandless Township, Moon Township, Franklin Park, Shaler Township,
Plum, North Side Pittsburgh, Baldwin, Upper St. Clair, Hampton
Township, Scott Township, Wilkinsburg, Whitehall, Robinson Township,
New Kensington, and Lower Burrell.
This includes the following highways...
Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 45 and 53.
Interstate 79 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 54 and 70.
Parkway North between mile markers 1 and 12.
Interstate 376 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 49 and 80.
