Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line 0-20 nm...
At 556 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from 9 nm southwest of Ormond Beach to
6 nm southwest of Daytona Beach to 7 nm west of New Smyrna Beach,
moving northeast at 10 knots.
Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
